Amplify Student Voices

How we’ll do it:

  • Student Charter of Rights and Freedoms so every student knows their rights and responsibilities.

  • TMSU Message Board for students to voice their concerns with the TMSU on what types of programs, initiatives, policies, and ideas they would like to see done by the union to benefit all TMU students.

  • Student-led event proposal program where students nominate and vote on major campus events.

  • Funding allocation input: Students help decide where TMSU funds go.

  • Whistleblower hotline for accountability and reporting misconduct.

Build Community

How we’ll do it:

  • Revitalize the Street Team to promote events, services, and student businesses.

  • Centralized events calendar for easy access to campus activities.

  • Better funding for student groups and easier access to grants for smaller organizations.

  • Opportunities to propose event ideas and vote on initiatives, giving students a stronger voice in shaping campus life.

  • Community engagement programs to increase awareness of existing resources and opportunities.

How we’ll do it:

  • Double down on the fight against OSAP and Bill 33.

  • Provide students a dedicated napping space.

  • A new job portal for TMU students.

  • Install more microwaves on campus for students.

  • Address corruption by implementing strict guidelines and amending election codes.

  • Publish annual financial reports and make spending transparent.
